That's not bad. In the US, most fairs, bus or subway, start at a buck. I remember being on a college budget so I feel for you, though. Hang in there, and hang on to any
RAM you trust.
I've been tempted to replace my
RAM... I got some good stuff (micron), some second tier, and some garbage (free compUSA stuff).... Even though I could afford to dump the garbage, I won't since all my systems are very stable. And a lot of it is CAS3

When I can get cheap sticks of 512mb DDR
ram, I'll just start migrating the
RAM down.
