I think Europe will eventual become one nation. However I feel that each state within that nation will have more power over affairs than our states here in the US have.
As far as one language. English it is! In ages past, communication was slow if even at all possible, today it is fast and international! This "communication age" was brought about by the English speaking world, so English is destined to be
the language. Ironically English is supposed to be one of the hardest to learn, some might argue that french is more difficult.
