I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. the nVidia 2.00 IDE Drivers are "
teh suck". They seem to be hit and miss for most, and no one has yet to provide any proof that they actually
do anything. I've had nothing but problems with them, XP would crash, freeze, lag, you name it -- it happened. So, the next time around I opted to
not install them, and everything is working flawlessly.
I'm currently at 2300@200x11.5, 4-2-2-2, Aggressive and the system couldn't be stabler (is that even a word?). So, if you're having problems with the IDE drivers, don't press the issue any further, simply
do not install them.
