| Installed the nVidia MCP IDE drivers by using device manager and updating the Standard Dual IDE Controller by navigating to the folder where I extracted the nVidia 2.00 drivers.
drummerjohn is right, they will work if installed this way and I am now able to burn CD's with them installed. Bootup and Sandra/HDTach benchmarks remain about the same however, but at least they work.
