| Hey - remember that the C9739a still does have to use the MCP as an actual DA source to decode - this is nothing like the CMedia PCI solution "abused" in many mainboard designs - the 8738-6.
This is a very good audio solution, similar in some respects to VIA's new 1616, but benefitting from hypertransport and MCP.
