| Thank you all very much for your opinions about FreeBSD. I wanted to try it before I investigated Linux. At the time, there were ~one and a half Web sites that offered hand holding with FreeBSD. Worse, only one of the support sites didn't sneer at you as it erased your email from its Server. Talk about an elitist clique.
There were four hundred sites that offered help to newfers in Linux. Red Hat 5.2 was my first foray into *nix land.
