Yep its definately possible that it would cause problems.
Highpoint actually suggest to update the Drivers first then Flash the Bios.
Im assuming that youve updated the Bios to the include the HPT version to support 372N. I think you have to use the 2.32 Drivers instead of the 2.34 Drivers, something to do with USB problems and the latest 2.34 Bios So they produced a different version of the 2.32 to fix the problem.
If you cannot get into Windows you may have to flash back to a Bios containing the 2.34 HPT bios version so you can get into Windows then back-date the Windows Driver to 2.32, then re-falsh with the new Bios.
