Enable viewing of previously attached (non-present) devices in Device Manager
By enabling this you will be able to see devices that were installed then removed. This can aid in cleaning out unused devices from your Device Manager. These non-present devices appear as half-opaque "ghost" icons.
Click Start>>>Settings>>>Control Panel>>>System
Select the Advanced tab and click "Environment Variables"
