I think that's precisely what he meant. I've read of folks on various forums modding the voltages via the PSU by increasing resistence on the sensing leads (IIRC). In any case, you're right. He'd have to be extra careful with the other components if he were to try it. I've also read of people actually adding capacitors to circuits and flattening out voltages. Would it be possible to add caps to the VDimm Vreg circuit and stabilize voltages over 3v?
