Just a quick update on the RMA of the second CPU. As an initial telephone call met with a refusal I decided to write to the MD of the Company I bought it from (OCUK) and gave him the truth, linked to this thread, and asked if they would be prepared to consider the RMA. Explained it wasn't a faulty cpu but unfortunate circumstances.
Cut a long story short they've agreed

. Look's like honesty pays.

I know for a fact that provided they stock what I want they'll be my first choice supplier.
