lol. Steve is right - thought it was bit obvious id forgotten with the edit
i also forgot to the bios which was the 24/6 bios which had this problem in addition to the shipping BIOS.
it also seems to think 1.55v was selected everytime i selected 1.750v in for vcore eventhough it did actually give ~1.7ish in the actual BIOS readings but this bug is only on the 24/6 one.
for some reason Win2k also likes to BSOD on bootup immediately after doing a BIOS flash - no idea if a BIOS flash causes a IRQ reshuffle or something...
