| I am using a Thermaltake Volcano 12 Fan and Heatsink rated for up to 3000+. When I installed the 2400+ I cranked up the speed on the fan just to be safe. At idle the cpu temp is 49 degrees celcius. Is this too hot you think? I could try smearing some more or better thermal grease on the CPU. I am pretty sure the heatsink is seated right, I have taken it on an off several times. I will make sure though.
