| leekirlew...... A year ago or so I installed a patch (I don't remember what it was called) from M$ that was supposed to help with Creative Labs sound cards (it didn't). All I could find it did was keep kicking my 5.1's back to desktop (2) speakers and loosing the Creative drivers. The patch had no uninstall so I ended up reformatting.
Have you installed any M$ patch that sounds like the above?
