I make fun, but when I first got started in computers, my first computer was a TI - 99/4A (in 1980? Don't remember now). I remember staying up for HOURS typing in a program from a computer mag, KNOWING that if I had the slightest hiccup in power, all my hard work would be GONE! because I didn't have any way of storing the data.
Then I finally saved up enough money from soda bottles, scrap aluminum, mowing yards and shoveling snow to go get an adapter for my cassette recorder. I was in HEAVEN. Took about 30 minutes to load 4k of data, but HEY! IT WAS SAVED!
LOL.
I'll bet Daniel ~ remembers when stone tablets were invented, though.
