I just installed the CNPS7000B-AlCu on the 8RDA3+ (Rev. 3.2). As far as I know the coolers are the same size:
1. You have to shorten a part of the cooler attachment clip. Very easy to do with a saw, if you unscrew the clip from the heatsink. (But then you can't use the cooler for sockets which use the other mounting holes anymore!)
2. The northbridge cooler is too high. One possibility is to simply unmount the fan on the northbridge. If you don't intend to raise chipset voltage, good thermal grease and the airstream of the Zalman are enough to cool the NB. That's what I did and it works well.
If you really want to cool the NB actively, you need to buy a lower northbridge heatsink or shorten the old one. (Perhaps you also want to buy a new fan, 'cause i heard the one installed by default is quite noisy and not very robust...). The total height of the NB cooling shouldn' t exeed 2cm.
