| but if these chips can actually function, but may need say the L2 halfing/disabling or running at slow speeds and low voltages, or maybe sse/mmx units disabling then just think how much of a service they would be doing donating them to organisations that can barely scrape Pentium based systems together, they could be the chip company with a heart, fair enough some chips are obviously beyond use, but if these stolen faulty chips are actually ending up in systems working in some state then it just seems such a waste to me that they were to be destroyed, it's like all the food supermarkets chuck just as it reaches it's sell by date rather than feeding the homeless or disadvantaged
