god bless going back to the 'old days'

I have done that recently with the advent of broadband in my residence. I got this game i used to have for the mac, called escape velocity. basically an rpg, 2d overhead view where u start of life as a trader, buy ships/upgrades, generally begin to kick ass, then you can start taking over planets, its freakin excellant little game, but the new version of it is not as open as the original, which is pretty sucky!
Also starting to try an get back into counter strike, but was mortified to learn that the ISP i had chosen was crap for gaming, however, they have just installed some new pipes, and BT are going to connect them better as well. pings after 5pm were at 200ish, which is crazy talk, but now was down at 30-40.... which is nice!


anyway... rock on with the tigger!
