I just burned a disc, and this is what the reading was:

Book Type: DVD+R
Note that there are a few revisions out there... The one that is considered the benchmark 16 media is THIS ONE.
Just finished burning a disk @ 5:20. My NEC is a very conservative burner, which is good at avoiding coasters... OPC baby!
I'm running kprobe in the background on the new DVD, and I'll update as soon as it is done.
... I ran out at lunchtime to get these... I'm tempted to go back and stock up tomorrow.
I have an inside track on Yuden +R's but I don't know if they are the same revision.
