| Well, I asked here because I had a problem with it earlier. I thought that I had found the values to add to the file, but when I rebooted the computer X refused to start. I tried to edit xorg.conf from the command line, but it was read only and it refused to be edited by a normal user. It was only then did I find out that Ubuntu installs no Root user, which seemed enormously unfortunate in my situation. However, sudo still works fine so I was able to edit the file back to its original state. I was reluctant to edit it again unless I knew that the lines I added were absolutely correct, though. I know that you guys are always here to cover my back!
