took my small disk and fdisked the sector out of existance - setup a new dos sector and formatted. tried installing win98se instead - it ran but kept having problems again. could not upgrade it to xp.
re fdisk-ed etc and tried to install xp, eventually got "bad pool header" - which i am now researching :|
