I don't see why anyone wouldn't just pick the best price to performance ratio, also known as the best 'bang for your buck'. I totally agree with Staz, I just chose my setup because I felt I could get the most out of the least and it fit my needs. I just answered the question as what do I feel the best platform, including price, would be for me and most others.
