umm wtf? this is hardly new I've had mine for over a month and it was out a month before that.
and no it's not requied for 7800's in sli, many others will do that, but it is required for dual x1800xt's which need it's continuous 36amps on the combined +12v rails. overkill for most, yes, but anice
psu all around and when you're paying 600$ for a gpu why not 170$ for a
psu you really need to put 10% of your system budget into power anyways (most people don't get this concept) due to the high requirements of new systems.
