This is all very interesting. While I agree piracy is inherently wrong.There is a difference between those who do it for personal use and those who do it for commercial gain. But I do not by any means support piracy. I am however a fan of open source, but that is another story.

Dsio: perhaps you could help, im a little lazy on Australian law. Is it illegal to have copyrighted material on ones machine or home, be they on hard drive or burnt disk? Or does it only become illegal when money changes hands for the copyright protected information?
