| I have not done the cooler mod, or any other hardware mod, goop included...I simply dont trust myself with delicate operations, I'd probably muck it up somehow...
As for drivers, I'm just using RivaTuner on stock nvidia drivers...I, too, had some trouble with the xtreme-g ones...
But, knowing that my temps are safe is a whole world of relief upon me!
