So I bought this webcam. It comes with one nice program that goes into the taskbar and tells you when webcam is in use. It can be disabled so it's not a pain in the arse. Had no issues until Sunday it went broadcasting by itself. Led on webcam green and no application that I was aware that could use it. I mention that I also have a tvtuner and sometimes they get mixed
So my question is, is it easy for someone to access my webcam without me saying he can? Must he be a good hacker or just an average guy with too much time on his hands? However when not in use I turn webcam towards Antec case and a gray image is all you get. Thanks for answering !
