Perhaps you are being a little optimistic running BF2 at full settings on your card...I have to leave one or two settings at medium when running high AA to get a high fps with my 7800gt. Plus with one gig of
RAM there is going to be a fair amount of pagefile useage.

I think you will find they are using the same discs as everyone else.
Im not trying to flame you here but you seem to be trying to stir up some sort of response by giving very negative opinions based on seemingly little.
I quite agree BF2 has been very problematic with missed release dates and dodgy patches but it is still one of the most popular games around and I for one will keep playing it.
I have played the BF2142 demo and I was not over impressed but like many others Ill go out and buy it anyway and give it a fair chance.
