Well maybe if my console could do everything my desktop can do, and at least the same resolutions.

Wait we already have those, they are called desktops.

I only think they will become smaller, and used for much more. I cannot see businesses moving away from them, and many people I know only use their computer from email, word processing, and light browsing.

Gamers will continue to utilise desktops, unless the line blurs enough so you are unable to see the difference in the picture quality. The biggest problems I see is that of buying 2 TV's, 1 for your console capable of computer resolutions, and another to watch movies/TV, there have been many times I have been watching a sci-fi divx on the computer, while my partner watches some soap on TV.

There is no way I'm splashing out on not only a computer/console, but also 2 ultra high defination TV's to go with it and to watch movies.

Lastly, can you overclock it?
