My mistake, not in but later as a peripheral.

Yes Toshiba has announced 3 layers, at 15GB each for HD DVD, and the Blu-ray association has announced up to 200GB should be possible.

A hybrid would be nice, especially with the hard coating being put onto the Blu-ray disc's, and the seeming cheapness of the HD DVD's

But Blu-ray is out first, and with writable media. I also found this from sony.
