| if it has any mushy core protectors I'd remove those and just use your brain(I know ur smart enough to do it!). My thermalright HR03 I put on my 7900GT gave modest idle temps, but under ANY stress shot up 20-40 degrees! I removed it and pulled off the rubber square core protector and just used common sense when to stop tightening. MUCH better now!
