I have been running there real power 450w for the past 18 months or so now, its a good solid psu with for me, ample power left in it. However if an R600 uses as much power as my total system does now i might be humped.

Having a peak efficency of 85% is not bad but not great, but at what loading conditions is this, i notice it wants upto 8A @ 230v, thats a whole 1.84kW which means efficency could be as low as 65% at peak power (1.2kW) what is of more interest to me (and should be most of the rest of you out there) whats its efficency between the 200-300w range as thats where most of us (except sli & crossfire) push our psu's to on a daily basis
