Unlike previous versions of Windows, Vista has a built in utility to resize partitions. Here's how:

1. In Start Seach, type in "management." That will bring up the computer management console.
2. Click on "Disk Management" near the bottom.
3. On the right bottom of the window, find the partition you want to resize, if you have a lot of disks, you may need to scroll a bit to find it.
4. Right click on the partition. You will see options to extend or shrink the volume.
5. When the dialog pops up, type in the amount you want to extend or shrink the partition by.
