My system has one hard disk, 1 FDD, 2 RAM modules, sound card it is an AMD San Diego 3700+ at 2948 MHz, the video card is GeForce 6200 and 4 fans (0.32A, 0.4A, 0.25A and 0.2A) work at 7 Volts.
Thus (0.32+0.4+0.25+0.2)*7 ==> 8.2 Watts.
Let's input all data:

Therefore for excellent quality PSU the recommended PSU is 182 watts.
182 is not very different than 173.
