I did this a little while back.

I don't have any pictures of the process but basically what I did was to print out my stencil then I glued it to some cardboard and cut it out with a scalpel. I attached that to the battery cover with masking tape. A coat of primer went on first followed by two coats of normal spray paint. Once it was about 50% dry I found that I could tidy up where the paint had leaked with a finger nail or pencil edge. After that I left it a day to dry thoroughly and it has held very well (about 2 months old now) since then.

Has anyone else modded their phones or other mp3 players or such?
