EU ones are made in Ireland which is err fun, as even though ireland is right next to the uk and orders from dell have a stupidly long (and expensive) delivery charge as they do a magical mystorey tour of europe!

Dunno where you heard that from matey. I recently ordered 3 systems form Dell, and I got them within 5 working days. Limerick -> Glasgow -> Destination Not too bad for a company that doesn't carry any stock.
Also most of the time I have seen on the Dell website there are deals that negate the delivery charge.
Is your D600 still under warranty?
