| Actually, being able to run a diskless workstation is very desirable in a corporate setting; it makes centralized administration MUCH easier. You don't have to worry about people installing softare that you don't want on your network nearly as much, because they are all running an image managed on a central server. Unfortunately for MS (and as the article notes) there are already some very well established players in this arena.
How this plays in the home market though? I'm having a real hard time seeing the value proposition there. It really isn't practical to stream the OS across the Internet.
