| The 2.5" ATAPI connector is a 44 pin connector, which provides power and interface on the same one cable. Unless you've got a 44pin IDE connectors already, the first one looks to be a better choice. Otherwise, you'll also need a 44pin to 40 pin IDE and power connector converter.
I believe that the 5he 50 pin JAE connector provides IDE (40pins), Audio (4pins) and power (4pins) and master/slave indication.
