| Just a follow up.....
I got the Eee for christmas, and I am loving it. It is incredibly light and really isnt that bad to type on especially if it is on a hard surface like a desk or table. the slow speeds are not noticeable since you really wouldnt do any cpu intensive things on this small of a system.
I'm going to upgrade the memory, simply because I installed XP and want to stop usage of a paging file. And with the SD Card slot there is definetly enough storage.
I would not use this as my main pc, but as something to easily carry it is amazing
