They are counting on the notion that you will realize there is no value in downloading the song, and you'll just buy the album.
You see, they really, REALLY don't want to allow you to download the songs, but since everyone else is allowing you to, they have to at least APPEAR to be following suit.
Remember, this is the company that thought installing a rootkit on your computer without your permission was OK.
