| DDR RAM won't even fit in a DDR2 slot, so the answer to that would be no.
However, I believe there are some mobos that have both DDR and DDR2 slots, allowing you to use either type of RAM. They tend to be rather more expensive and rather less feature rich than their DDR2-only counterparts, though, from what I've read.
