Silence is kinda relative. I work in a very loud environment. I drive loud cars, I sit at a loud PC. I can't think or sleep if it's quiet. This NZXT
PSU has fan only power connectors though, and if they aren't needed, they slow down or stop. When I game it screams, when I watch a movie the only thing making any real noise is the CPU fan. Luckily the server and the hub have a nice whine.
