Found this thread again, through google, while looking into options for my aging chip. I had no idea that decapping was an option on the 939's.

Here's a thread on another forum where a 3800 x2 has been pushed to 2950Mhz @ 1.44v

I'm going to have to resurrect the old 1800xp so I have a backup if i smush my core.

I'm not hoping for 2900, but decapping should make 2750 or so pretty easy.

this is being done on a zalman 7700. Air colling to a near 50% OC? Two words come to mind: Holy, and ****.
