I make sure there's a good in and out flow, then I lay what I think of as disruptor fans usually small and quite, all over the place! ":O}
I find that if the basic air flow is good small fans can direct it to tough spots like RAM and chip sets... I like your back of the box thinking...You mentioned Koolance, so I'll assume you've looked at out side of the box thinking...":O}
