I hope that ASUS have a very very good understanding of TPM and crypto then to avoid the mistakes that are made by other companies. (Also, what happens when you move the data to another system? TPM is pretty good at locking data to a specific motherboard)

ASUS's "Express Gate" is better known as DeviceVM's Splashtop - which is available to anyone who wants to license it from DeviceVM.

I hope ASUS's ESD protection covers more than a few kilovolts. Other manufacturers are including protection for 15kV air gap and 8kV direct, which meets one of the international standards for ESD.

Whilst I don't knock what ASUS are doing, I don't necessarily buy the line that so many companies trot out with regards to the selling features. I have seen limitations and half hearted hacks described as sales features before!
