The speed effect is just a radial blur effect. Plus, I put in some distortion before blurring it.
The original photo was actually 2 photos, one was very dark. I just blended the dark one in a bit to add a bit more detail in the brighter areas.
Used a very wide angle lens and tripod due to it being quite dark.
The orange sun glare was in the actual photo. Had to get the camera in just the right position to catch the sun through the trees.
The idea being your vision and perception changes if you are running through the woods. Just trying to reproduce that in a static image.
