Well, it happened. I was working at machine #2, and I suddenly smelled burning insulation...I immediately turned off and unplugged it, and I have yet to put a new
PSU in, but I *think* everything is OK, since it shut down properly. Well, everything but the
PSU.
It was a 430w ThermalTake, and it had a good life. I think I've been using it for 6 years, so it's been in service a while. But it decided to go out in style. No slow degradation of stability for this one, it just pushed over the cliff with the magic blue smoke.
I just hope it didn't take anything with it.
