| "Sailing, sailing, over the bounding Main.." What does "bounding" mean? Pretty sure that the "Main" was the route to Spain from the New World. Lots of gold and other plunder available for pirating. The Conquistadors were a respectful bunch, treating the Native Americans with restraint and even handedness. Just like we do today!
