| After fighting with the 2.6.25 / 2.6.26 kernels and getting nowhere I went back to a heavily patched 2.6.23 kernel. Performance is now back where it should be.
I've been using Con Kaliva's patchset for a while and still cannot believe that his patchset was rejected upstream and replaced with one that just plain doesn't work.
