I'm using a fx5200 PCI to get around in. There is only one PCI-e slot and I have found that setting you mentioned this morning. I changed it so PCI was first but it didn't change any thing. I hadn't thought of giving the
cmos a long rest but I'll do that tonite. It's perfict! I have to go to the hospital tonite where they are going to do a sleep study. Maybe we'll both get a rest!
I don't remember the thread but before I bought this card I was concerned about a rumor it wasn't compatible with this board. I'm back to being very concerned.
Another oddity in the HDD situation. The 20g is the only drive it's recognizing and I just discovered it reads it as a 2.0g drive. It's full.
Something else strange. It won't boot to Hiren's Boot CD. The minute you give the cmd the speaker starts to beep like crazy. That is the only one that has one, so far, to do that.
