Please do yourself a favor before making your next move and post your problem with my friends at the forum I've provided below. There are some extremely knowledgeable guys there who may be able to sort you out: ASUS Independent
This forum is not related to or approved by ASUS; but the founder was an ASUS employee who felt users deserved better support than they could get from ASUS's official support. If these guys can't help you then there is no answer. It might take a short time for them to get to you but they will, I'm quite sure.
