when it boots and gives you the menu. press the "e" key while it is on the menu

there will be a section that looks like root (hd1,0) change the 1 to a 0 and hit the "b" key. if that doesn't work try changing it to 2. If this works then you simply edit the menu.lst file to boot that drive.

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
